Hmmm... I wonder who else might be a major investor in Eclipse? Perhaps a major Santa Fe art dealer/real estate/banking/restaurant mogul and F.O.F.B. who will remain nameless??

Coco

You mean GERALD PETERS?

Hibernia

I want to know who benefits from the water improvements for the mattress factory. I have heard murmurings about elected officials et al. who have interests in development in that area, so these improvements are really a giveaway for later on. Anyone care to mention names, or make conjectures?

Maggie

Think Cummings.

I wish to hell that people realized what deal like the Tempur Pedic one mean for sprawl. It's hard for many folks to connect a subsidy giveaway to Tempur Pedic with the related infrastructure expansion that will almost certainly cause massive new sprawling developments all around it. It's maddening!

Thanks for keeping this story in people's minds, Coco.

Gerald Peters, Gerald Peters... hmmm. Sounds vaguely familiar. Might he be a F.O.F.B.? Perhaps Peters couldn't afford to keep flying the Gov around the country in his jet-that snack cabinet doesn't refill itself, ya know.

Coco

Yep. Maddening.
Speaking of which, both siblings dislike use of "Cummings" instead of correct "Cummins".
(So keep that up.) ;)

Good call, Coco, on houses being built on the west-side before any Eclipse Aviation jets do (or did), but you didn't mention that they'd be built in Russia first too !
